1998-1999 Freelance photojournalist for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and co-publisher of the O'Fallon City Record newspaper which I co-created.

1991-1998 Freelance photojournalist specializing in news, sports and feature photography and feature and news story production for The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Granite City, IL., McKendree College in Lebabnon, IL. and smaller clients in the metro St. Louis area.

MANAGEMENT
Supervised more than 5,400 shooting assignments in a three-year period as non-commissioned
officer in charge of photography for the Scott Air Force Base Photo Lab. As photo-editor
for the U.S. military's largest joint exercise, "Team Spirit," for two years, directed, scheduled
and assigned more than 15 photographers shooting assignments and selected images for
release to the news media. Edited military photographs for world-wide releases while assigned
to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs. Supervised U.S. coverage of the
Saigon Baby Airlift and pullout of U.S. troops from Vietnam.
Managed an extensive on-the-job training program that resulted in highly skilled and motivated Air Force photographers in the areas of supervision. Managed more than $100,000 worth of
photography equipment and film inventories. Responsible for the purchase of film and
equipment, maintenance schedules and office administration controls. Photo editor for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville newspaper the Alestle.
